Rabbi Silver Publishes his Book — The Weight of Gold

December 03, 2020

Our former congregant, Rabbi Moshe Silver has published a new book, The Weight of Gold, now available from Amazon. We have been publishing weekly excerpts of his book on our webpage each week.

For nearly three decades Rabbi Moshe Silver has offered his unique creative approach to teaching text – from Torah to Shakespeare – while mentoring young people from Wall Street to a yeshiva in Jerusalem, where he and his wife make their home. When Rabbi Silver helped guide a young Christian business associate through a spiritual crisis, little did they know that it would result in this life-altering book. The Weight of Gold reveals the Torah’s universal messages for personal growth and social justice, showing that the Torah is indeed the User’s Guide to the human soul.

On Motzi Shabbat, December 5, at 6:00pm, Moshe Silver will be holding a special Zoom meeting about his book. Please join him.

“Rav Moshe Silver’s insights on the Torah are based on his vast experience in the business world and through his varied worldly exposure and learning. He is a very interesting intelligent individual with a great voice and a big heart. His ideas will appeal to people from all nations and backgrounds and help spread the universal ideas of the Torah.”
