Dear East Brunswick, Edison, and Highland Park Chaveirim,
An exciting new organization, serving our community has been formed - Raritan Valley Orthodox Jewish Community Association, also known as The ROC of New Jersey.
This organization will help our community members as well as community institutions. We plan on achieving this by:
Employment Assistance - resume, career, interview and LinkedIn coaching and a job board, 13 community members have already been recipients of some, or all, of these services.
Shop Local Campaign - support local small businesses and make sure they stay afloat.
Connecting with Local Authorities - interceding with the local governments on behalf of our community and community members when issues arise. And many more soon-to-be released initiatives.
We plan to grow our community by showcasing our wonderful towns, highly successful Jewish community infrastructure, vibrant institutions and plenty of options for shopping.
We would like to unite the community with great events and opportunities. As a mid-size community, we want to maintain a small-town feel, but offer the kinds of services you would find in a larger community.
