We are ready ב"ה to launch the Highland Park/Edison Community Delivery Service on Monday, March 22, at 9 a.m., for those who are vulnerable or possibly contagious at this time. The reason for this is that we are one community that feels and pulls for each other, and as a result, we had an enormous number of volunteers to fill all the shopping and delivery slots for each week. We thank all those caring and selfless individuals who are making Chesed a priority at this time.
A special Yasher Koach to Shmuel Kerzner who conceived of the program as well as organized it from its inception. He brought to bear his superb organizational talents in his deep concern for our Community. Shmuel will be the dispatcher of our volunteer shoppers and delivery people and will interface with those who need this service.
All the volunteers will be working in good faith to provide the best service for you. As a result, we ask for your understanding if a mistake is made in your order. No items may be returned to the stores these days, even in unopened packaging. In order to make such a service feasible, we need to state the following:
By ordering through HPCDS, you agree that you will not hold anyone responsible for a mistake in your order and that you agree to pay for that which was delivered to you. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
The attached flyer will explain all the procedures you need to know to access this service.
In the Zechus of our Community’s chesed, may we, our families, and Klal Yisroel by spared and hear only b’soros tovos.
