Eruv Hotline Number Changed

August 19, 2020

If you have called the Eruv Hotline to find out the status of the eruv, that number has changed.

The new number is 732-487-ERUV

We have been updating the technology for the last five years to improve notifications on the eruv’s status. The update to the Eruv Hotline allows us to completely automate the process. It is now automatically updated as soon as the eruv's status is known. However, in order to do this, we had to change phone providers, and thus we had to get a new number.

The eruv’s status can be determined in a number of ways:

  • Email: We send out an email as soon as the eruv’s status is known. To sign up, send a blank email to hperuv+subscribe@groups.io.

  • Twitter: Follow @hp_eruv on Twitter and get alerts right on your cellphone as soon as the eruv’s status is known.

  • Facebook: Follow the hperuv on Facebook to get automatic updates.

  • Website: Go to the Eruv’s website at https://hperuv.org and the status is there on top of the page. There’s also a nice map of the eruv too.

  • Eruv Hotline: Call 732-487-ERUV (732-487-3788) for the latest status

All this information can be found on the Eruv’s Notification page.
