To our dear Etz Ahaim community,
The Daughters of Etz Ahaim would like to thank all those who donated to our Mishloach Manot this Purim. We sincerely appreciate your support and enthusiasm!
Thanks to your generosity, we're excited to announce that we'll be able to send $700 to a charity in Israel. We've chosen Chasdei Naomi—a nonprofit organization that assists Holocaust survivors, soldiers, and families in need—as the beneficiary.
May these good deeds carry us forward, and may we merit even more blessings as Pesah approaches!
Daughters of Etz Ahaim
We cannot allow another day to pass without standing up for Israel and demanding the release of our hostages.
We need YOUR help TODAY to send a strong message to President Biden to support Israel, combat antisemitism, and secure the release of our hostages. To do so, we will collect 180,000 signed letters that will be hand-delivered to the White House on Wednesday, April 3rd – the 180th day since October 7th.
Please click on the link below and sign the letter and help us reach our goal of 180,000 letters of support for our acheinu bnei Yisrael.
Just in time for Pesach, Rabbi Tal will be publishing a set of English commentaries on Pesach. These commentaries were compiled by his students at Yeshivat Torat Emet from their classes they took at Congregation Etz Ahaim after Shacharit.
A PDF of the book will be available from our website at right before Pesach and hard copies will be made availble at Congregation Etz Ahaim.
The book is free. However, if you’d like to help underwrite the cost of this book, please contact Rabbi Tal at rabbi@etzahaim.org for more information, or donate through the Rabbi’s Charity Fund.

To our beloved Etz Ahaim community,
Purim is right around the corner, and we can hardly believe it.
As we've done for the past few years, the Daughters of Etz Ahaim will be delivering a Mishloach Manot package to each family of Etz Ahaim on Purim day as a collective gift from the kahal.
This year, however, we want to give the community a chance to do another mitzvah through these Mishloach Manot, an important and beautiful mitzvah on its own. With Israel on all of our minds and in our hearts, we feel it is crucial to take every opportunity possible to support Am Yisrael in our actions, whether big or small.
And so, we're excited to announce that those who help sponsor Etz Ahaim's Mishloach Manot can also look forward to their donations benefiting Israel. Twenty percent of all the proceeds will go to a fund supporting Israel. We appreciate any amount from $18 to $360 or more.
Please feel free to make your donation online at etzahaim.org by clicking the "Donate" button on the web page. You can also mail your donation checks to 230 Denison St, Highland Park, NJ 08904. Please make them out to “Daughters of Etz Ahaim” and put “Mishloah Manot” in the memo.
Am Yisrael Chai!

Read MoreOn a cold February night women gathered to create potholders under the wise tutelage of Chana Bishburg. They picked out colorful squares, sewed, folded, ironed, and shared stories of needlecraft adventures in their lives.
Tai chi, cooking middle eastern cuisine, collage, wine bottle bags, and creative writing are being considered for future events. Stay tuned!
