Announcing the Establishment of Etz Ahaim’s Youth Program and Introducing Arielle Fagan and Marc Kolb as Youth Directors
Arielle Fagan and Marc Kolb, a husband and wife team, are both dynamic educators who are excited to bring their combined over 30 years working with children to Etz Ahaim. Marc has experience in science, theater, and Torah education. His flair for the interdisciplinary connection of various genres makes his lessons and activities memorable and relatable to the youth. He is a graduate of Yeshiva University and holds a Master’s in Education from Montclair State University. He has taught in public schools, Hebrew schools, and Yeshivot.
Arielle is an Early Childhood educator with experience in both general and special education. She is also trained in Creative Dramatics for Kids and Storytelling. Arielle started working with synagogue youth as a 12 year old working at Ahavas Achim. For the next fifteen years, she then served in various roles within their youth programming department. Formerly a preschool teacher at Yeshiva at the Jersey Shore, Arielle currently spends her time running after her 2½ year old son Shai, and tutoring Hebrew and Judaic studies for several Highland Park families.
The couple look forward to bringing their experiences, creativity, and skills to creating fun, meaningful, and educational programming to our Synagogue’s youth. You can email them at email@example.com.
